Sola Scriptura - Martin Luther's Theology revisited

One of the greatest theologians of all times was Martin Luther.
In October 1517, he dared to question many doctrines which were developed in the course of the centuries by the catholic church.
He wanted to turn back to simple christianity, without any intermediate clerics, without any pomp, just pure, simple Christianity.

How can we have a close relationship to God, how can we have a merciful God?
His answer was simple, yet intriguing:

Sola Scriptura - Through Scripture Alone!
Sola Gratia - Through God's Grace Alone!
Sola Fide - Through Faith Alone!

With Sola Scriptura, Luther mainly wanted to point out that in the course of the centuries, the catholic church had added many additional teachings and traditions, which were not contained in the bible, thus distorting the original pure teaching.

However, Luther did not yet see that his phrase contained a deeper meaning.

Jesus said:

I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.(John,14:6)

If Jesus is the only way, and according to Luther, we can only come to a merciful God via Scripture, it again becomes clear that the bible IS Jesus, and Jesus IS the bible.

Again, how happy we are in this dispensation to have direct communion to Jesus via the bible, for the bible is nothing else but Jesus, who passed throughout the centuries, who passed throughout the world, who passed language barriers via translation.

Only few people got to know Jesus in his physical body, only few people could even understand him, for he spoke aramaic.
However, billions of people have a bible or at least access to the bible, mostly in their mother tongue, or in a few exceptions in another language like English.
By transforming into the bible, Jesus was able to reach billions of people, touch their heart, and be with them.

The message of the gospel as restored by the Church of Christian Bible Worshippers is:
You can have direct communion with Christ. You can pray to him, and as he is scripture, you can receive answers from him by pondering scripture regularly and understanding God and Jesus more and more.
Many people are desperate because their prayers seem to go unheard.
This is not true. Jesus, by transforming into the bible, has answered our prayers, has given us what we need, has provided us with a matter of communication, via prayer and scripture pondering.

May all Christians come unto the Truth that HE is with us as HE was with the Fathers of Old. In the old times, God used to take different forms to visit the Israelites.

And the LORD went before them by day in a pillar of a cloud, to lead them the way; and by night in a pillar of fire, to give them light; to go by day and night. He took not away the pillar of the cloud by day, nor the pillar of fire by night, [from] before the people.(Exd 13:21-22)

We see that God did not leave the Israelites alone. He was continuously present in the form of a pillar.

In the same way, Jesus promised us to be constantly with us:
and, lo, I am with you alway, [even] unto the end of the world. Amen.(Mt 28:20)

However, his physical body was taken away, to return only at the Day of Judgement.
Therefore, he can only be with us in another form, namely in the form of the bible which is also the Word of God.

God and Jesus continued to be with us human beings, from the beginning, when he visited Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden, through the time when he appeared to Mose, to the time when he incarnated as Jesus, to our time, when he spread to all corners of the world in the form of our Holy Writ.

May the Lord be praised, for HIS mercy knows no boundaries, and HIS grace is endless.
In HIS holy name,
Amen.

Welcome to the Church of Christian Bible Worshippers

Welcome, dear visitor and friend.

This blog actually documents the process of founding a new Church.
But let's step back in history and see why I came to the conclusion that I have to found a new church:

I was on my way home from church (I attended a lutheran congregation), when suddenly the thought came to my mind:
"Wait a minute. In Christian theology, there is a missing link. But if this link is missing in all current churches, these churches are an abomination in the eyes of God. Therefore, I have to found a new church, the Church of Christian Bible Worshippers."

And here is the missing link:
1) According to the bible, Jesus is the Word of God:

"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God...
And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth."
( John 1:1,14)

2) But we also know that the bible is the Word of God:
"All scripture [is] given by inspiration of God, and [is] profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works."
(2. Ti 3:16-17)

3) From the premises 1 and 2, we can draw the infallible conclusion:
Jesus is the bible. The bible is Jesus.

But in today's churches, noone preaches this fundamental teaching about the nature of God and Jesus. All churches lack this fundamental and essential doctrine, a doctrine which is the connection between God and ourselves in these latter days.
For we do not see God, neigther do we see Jesus.
But we have our Holy Bible, and through our bible, we have connection to and communion with our Savior Jesus Christ, for he is the bible.

I am not yet sure what will come next, because the foundation of an entirely new church is a hard task. But I cannot deny God's words and meekly speak:
"O my Lord, I am not eloquent, neither heretofore, nor since thou hast spoken unto thy servant: but I am slow of speech, and of a slow tongue."
And the LORD said unto him: "Who hath made man's mouth? or who maketh the dumb, or deaf, or the seeing, or the blind? have not I the LORD?"(Ex 4:10-11)

Let's praise the LORD, for he has revealed the deepest mysteries about his nature to an evil and adulterous generation(Mt 12:39) and brought forth salvation, not only for our fathers of old, but also for our generation in these latter days.
